10 Biggest Heat Generators In UFC History
6. Michael Bisping
Michael Bisping is awesome. He’s hilarious, a good family man, a decent actor, great commentator, has an entertaining podcast, and is an excellent anchor on UFC Tonight. Things weren’t always so nice for the count.
Michael Bisping was considered a huge heel for pretty much all of his career in the UFC. He was by all accounts a cocky loud mouth, who showed zero humility in victory or defeat.
The best examples of this would be his incident of spitting at the corner of Jorge Rivera after his TKO victory, telling Vitor Belfort that “Jesus wasn’t real” at a weigh-in, and of course his appearances as a coach on Seasons 9 and 14 of The Ultimate Fighter.
Listing every incident that happened during his two seasons as coach on The Ultimate Fighter could make up another list entirely, but if nothing else you should definitely check out his highlights from Season 14. His rivalry with opposing coach Jason “Mayhem” Miller is pure TV gold.
UFC fans can be glad that Bisping eventually left the heel life behind and became a fan favorite. Everyone was thrilled when he won the Middleweight Title and at hearing his induction into the UFC Hall of Fame. Michael Bisping was a dedicated workhorse and certainly deserves both honors.
