10 Former MMA Stars Who Have Surprisingly Normal Jobs

1. Igor Vovchanchyn - Restaurateur

During his peak as a mixed martial artist, few names inspired fear in the hearts of their opponents as much as Igor Vovchanchyn. At just 5 foot 8 inches the Ukrainian was pretty short for the heavyweight division, but his crisp boxing and terrifying power left many opponents face-down on the canvas.

Vovchanchyn was a pioneer of the sport in Europe, often competing several times in the same night in events with little to no rules. Despite this Igor racked up an incredible record as a fighter at 31-2 before he made his debut in PRIDE.

By the time Igor had called time on his career as a mixed martial artist in 2005, the former kickboxer had recorded an astonishing 41 of his 56 wins by way of knockout, the second-most in the history of the sport.

So, what does one of the most violent men in the history of cage fighting do when he finally decides his bloodlust has been suitably quenched?

Opening a restaurant business in your home countries, of course! Vovchanchyn has even stated in interviews that he is especially proud of his cookies.
