10 Greatest UFC Signature Moves

2. 'Rampage' Jackson's Powerbomb

Quinton Jackson was well versed as a wrestler in his early years, achieving All-State honors in his senior year after a fifth place finish in a state tournament. The eventual 'Rampage' would ride his wrestling wave into MMA - after being impressed by other wrestlers in the sport - and his reputation for slamming opponents down hard on the mat began to gather steam.

What soon became a signature for 'Rampage' was the might of his trademark Powerbomb.

His time in the Pride Fighting Championships gave us some of Jackson's greatest ever uses of the move. In a number one contender bout with Ricardo Arona at Pride Critical Countdown in 2004, Rampage found himself in an Arona triangle hold. His solution? Hoist the man up and rocket him back down to earth - forcing the KO.

He used these power plays to more consistent affect in his Pride years but still fell back on this superior wrestling ability if called upon in the UFC. 'Rampage' undoubtedly had more in his locker than being simply a bodyslam artist and used the UFC as a platform to showcase that. His multiple KO victories using his substantial left hand weren't an accident, you know.

Yet, his unearthing of Ryan Bader at UFC at UFC 144, slamming him with authority onto his head, is still a healthy reminder of what Jackson was known best for.
