2. Greg Hardy (3-0) Vs Allen Crowder (9-3)
The co-main event of the evening has the all the makings of a good old fashioned squash match.
Greg Hardy is a former NFL Pro Bowler who spent the majority of his career with the Carolina Panthers. Over the course of his relatively short MMA run, Hardy has looked absolutely terrifying. He has knocked out all 3 of his professional opponents in round 1 and it took him a grand total of 127 seconds to do so. The former NFL star is a freak athlete with devastating knockout power.
A 6’2”, 240 pounds (give or take) heavyweight Allen Crowder is far from the largest man in the division. In his most recent bout, he was knocked out in the very first round by the hard-hitting Justin Willis. In 8 of his last 9 fights, Crowder has either KOed his opponent or been KOed himself.
This fight doesn't require a great deal of analysis. The bout was booked so that Hardy could showcase his impressive knockout power, which is exactly what he'll do. The former Panther is simply too strong, fast, and athletic for the undersized Crowder, who, outside of a lucky punch, doesn't seem to have a path to victory here.
