UFC Fight Night: Cerrone Vs. Gaethje Predictions

3. Todd Duffee Vs. Jeff Hughes

There was a time when Todd Duffee was the scariest prospect competing in the UFC. A mixture of ridiculous punching power, insane physical attributes and the youth to be a real long-term threat, had fans calling him the future of the heavyweight division.

However, he went down the path of most prospects and failed to live up to his potential. Four years after his last fight, a knockout loss to Frank Mir, Duffee makes his return to the Octagon against Dana White's Contender Series winner, Jeff Hughes.

Hughes is a pretty tough individual with some decent knockout power in his hands. He absolutely flat-lined Josh Apelt on DWCS, but his loss to Maurice Greene in March this year showcased that he suffers from the same ailment most heavyweights have - really, really bad cardio.

While Hughes has his flaws, it's impossible to know what type of shape Duffee is in after four years out of the game. He might be the underdog in this fight, but expect Hughes to get a finish against Duffee.
