10 Awesome Wrestlers With Surprisingly Bad WrestleMania Records
9. The Dudley Boyz (0-5)
A limp loss to the Usos at WrestleMania 32 drew a disappointing line under D-Von and Bubba Ray Dudley’s dismal ‘Mania record last year. They were huge stars at the turn of the century, but none of The Dudley Boyz’ WWE Tag Team Title victories came at the 'Showcase of the Immortals', and they were never able to get it together on the biggest show of the year.
Their WrestleMania careers started with 2000’s Triangle Ladder Match, which they lost to Edge & Christian. E&C also triumphed in TLC II the following year, and the Dudleyz’ multi-team failings continued at X8, when they dropped an elimination match to Billy & Chuck. Finally, at WrestleMania XX, The Dudley Boyz competed in the last WrestleMania match of their first WWE run, losing another multi-team match to Booker T & Rob Van Dam.
The Dudleyz didn’t need ‘Mania to become one of the most important tag teams of all-time, and the aforementioned matches gave them plenty of memorable moments. Giving them a WrestleMania victory wouldn’t make a huge difference to their legacy, and while they weren’t victorious, it’s impossible to argue that they weren’t elevated by those first two matches with Edge, Christian, and the Hardys.
