10 Bands Synonomous With WWE
1. Motorhead
It would seem that there are a few sure-fire ways to make it high up on this list. For one, you could have your songs used as the theme for a PPV, you could also have your songs used as a superstars entrance song. Performing live at a WrestleMania or two doesn't hurt either.
Legendary British rockers Motorhead ticked all these boxes to become synonymous with the WWE. Penning an anthemic rendition of Triple H's entrance theme The Game, the band performed the song at two separate WrestleManias (X-Seven and 21). The band were drawn to the WWE when lead singer Lemmy struck up a friendship with Triple H, and their exploits in the company were all very closely linked him as a result.
Line in the Sand was written for Evolution and King of Kings was introduced at WrestleMania 22 as another entrance theme for Triple H. In addition to being heard every week, the band also had subtle links to the product as Triple H would often introduce them at concerts as well as growing a very Lemmy-like handlebar mustache. The two men's friendship developed so much that when Lemmy sadly passed away in 2015, Triple H spoke at his funeral.
The band also provided the theme for Unforgiven 2008 with Rock Out but it is with Triple H that many fans associate Motorhead. As the ushering chorus for one of the most high profile figures in the company's history for over a decade, it is easy to see why Motorhead have become forever linked with WWE.
