Following the first season of NXT, all eight competitors, Wade Barrett, Justin Gabriel, David Otunga, Skip Sheffield, Heath Slater, Darren Young, Michael Tarver, and Daniel Bryan arrived on Monday Night Raw. This group decided to make an immediate impact and they weren't satisfied only taking out two of the top stars in WWE in John Cena and CM Punk.

Led by NXT winner Wade Barrett, these eight men laid waste to everyone and everything at ringside. They attacked the announce team, including the now infamous Daniel Bryan choking Justin Roberts with his own tie moment. They attacked camera operators, stage crew, and even tore apart the announce desk and the entire ring itself. The rookies turned their attention back to Cena as each man hit their signature moves on the biggest star in WWE, ending with a 450 Splash by Justin Gabriel. All eight men, sporting the black and yellow 'N' armbands stood tall over a fallen Cena and forced him to leave on a stretcher.

While the story might not have ended the way fans had hoped for The Nexus, this was an amazing way to introduce the reality show rookies to the whole WWE Universe. One of the biggest debuts in recent memory set the stage for a summer on top of WWE for the first class of NXT.
