Or not.

In 2017, William Regal made the huge announcement that the legendary WCW stipulation, WarGames, was making a comeback. For the first time since 2000, the iconic double cages of WarGames would be returning to our screens and they've been a staple of NXT ever since. Since Regal's announcement, there have been four WarGames matches in NXT and rather than try and pick one, we wanted to celebrate them all.

The very first match set the bar high, pitting three of NXT's top teams against one another in an all-out brawl. The most memorable spot of this match came when Roderick Strong superplexed Adam Cole (there he is again) from the top of the cage. Presumably, they made him apologise for this before they let him join The Undisputed Era.

The following year, Roddy was part of The Era as they took on the ragtag team of War Raiders, Pete Dunne, and Ricochet. The latter stole the show with a ridiculous double moonsault off the top of the cage.

Then came WarGames 2019 and two stonking matches, one featuring male performers and the other featuring females.

We got Dakota Kai turning on Tegan Nox, Rhea Ripley slamming Shayna Baszler through a table, and the return of Kevin Owens.

What a night and what a stipulation.
