10 Best WWE Easter Eggs In WrestleMania's Firefly Fun House Match
The most insane WrestleMania match of all-time featured some crazy WWE Easter Eggs...
The two-night WrestleMania was much different to what we're used to seeing from the Show of Shows, but WWE still managed to deliver an enjoyable PPV with some memorable bouts and unmissable "WrestleMania Moments." However, most of the latter arguably came in the amazing Boneyard and Firefly Fun House matches!
The latter was one of the craziest things we've seen from WWE in recent years as Bray Wyatt took John Cena for a trip down memory lane in a bizarre clash which included some downright incredible WWE Easter Eggs. Say what you will about the company, but they have a storied history, and both Wyatt and Cena made good use of both that and their own respective pasts in a truly insane confrontation.
Now, we're taking a look at ten of the best cameos, Easter Eggs, and references in this Firefly Fun House match, including some surprising mentions of Cena's personal life, Wyatt's time as the Eater of Worlds, and even a cheeky nod to some of what Jon Moxley recently revealed about Vince McMahon.
We don't know how WWE is planning to top this match, and Cena's fate is very much a mystery after his shock defeat at the hands of The Fiend, but these Easter Eggs prove it demands repeat viewings...
10. Ruthless Aggression
After Cena's entrance in the WWE Performance Center is interrupted by Vince McMahon's introduction at WrestleMania and "Mean" Gene Okerlund's at WrestleMania IV, the leader of the Cenation finds himself face to face with the puppet version of the WWE Chairman who repeatedly hammers home the idea of "Ruthless Aggression."
That's obviously a reference to the promo the real McMahon cut back in 2002 to kick off the era of the same name, and Wyatt makes some very pointed references to Cena's role in that.
The recent Ruthless Aggression documentary on the WWE Network saw Cena admit that his original gimmick was a failure. Well, Wyatt takes a shot at that saying, "Whoever thought this was actually going to work?" while poking fun at Cena nearly getting fired.
However, perhaps the most effective Ruthless Agrression Easter Egg comes when Cena makes his entrance in front of the giant fist which was the centrepiece of SmackDown's stage at the time, and something fans of this era have definitely missed in the years which have followed.
