The People's Champion has a good record at the Nassau Coliseum and at SummerSlam so it makes sense that his top-liner with The Next Big Thing in 2002 would be a barnstormer. Lesnar was seen as the next great hope by WWE when he debuted properly (after working months of dark matches) in April.
