10 Best WWE SmackDown Matches 2015

10. Roman Reigns vs. Kane (May 14)

It's true that Kane isn't the kind of performer many would expect to pop up on 'Best Of 2015' lists very often. A lot of fans were upset that Glenn Jacobs was chosen to headline a WWE pay-per-view in 2015, even though his match against Seth Rollins at Hell In A Cell didn't prove to be too bad. Long before then, he produced a stirring effort against another ex-member of The Shield. On the May 14 episode of Smackdown, Kane faced Roman Reigns in the main event. The match was little more than a distraction-filled brawl, one full of all the shortcuts which pad out such affairs. Nonetheless, the use of weapons and brawling outside of the ring actually helped this bout, because - being honest - it was unlikely to be an excellent technical wrestling contest. The stipulation called for 'No Disqualification', something which only aided proceedings. A few people were likely surprised by how much Kane had to offer during the match, and the end result was the correct decision. Winning with a well-placed Spear through a prone table in the corner, Reigns achieved a popular victory.
