Sigh. This again. There's no wrestling fan alive who doesn't know the (very literal) trials and tribulations of Phil Brooks, from his WWE departure up to his most recent flirtation with FOX Network. The answer on his potential return to wrestling remains the same as ever: don't hold your breath.

The fact the closest Punk has came to getting back into bed with the business he once loved has been as a mooted talk show host tells the story of just how much he doesn't want a return. He has, by all accounts, burned his bridges with AEW - even if that fire could be designed to produce a smokescreen - and at this stage, following a humiliating MMA run, there's no reason for him to trade his 'Best in the World' reputation on a comeback.

It isn't happening. Until it does.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
