10 Burning Questions For WWE Raw (April 6th)

1. Can WWE Maintain Its Momentum?

Coming out of a surprisingly hot WrestleMania and Raw (and even a better than usual Smackdown), WWE has generated some genuine interest in what is going to happen next with a few of its storylines. The Seth Rollins shocker, new faces on the roster and a little more aggression from performers made for a very watchable week of professional wrestling. It€™s a drastic shift after weeks of horrible build-up to WrestleMania XXXI. But the question must be asked: Can WWE keep this momentum going? If there is going to be a WrestleMania hangover, this week is the time for it to hit. If WWE is going to slide off the rails, even slightly, this is the week for it. It€™s essential for WWE to find a way to not fall back into the trappings of poor storylines, silly antics, poorly acted segments and other pitfalls that have plagued Raw for much of 2015. This isn€™t to say that everything is firing on all cylinders after WrestleMania, but WWE has its best chance in months to turn a corner and actually put out a product that fans want to see because it€™s quality entertainment, not because they are just used to tuning in. But it all starts with Monday Night Raw. We€™ll know after that three-hour program if WWE is going to continue trying to build off the stronger-than-expected WrestleMania week, or slide back into bad habits. To borrow a line used last week, if you see El Torito and Hornswoggle €œbattling€ in an Easter egg hunt match, you€™ll have your answer.
