10 Content Additions That Would Improve WWE Network
8. AWA Programming
In 2006, WWE released a DVD set on the American Wrestling Association, introducing many a fan to the company that gave Hulk Hogan his first big break, a good two years before "Hulkamania" was born. It was a "rise and fall" style of DVD, showing the many highs that the company had (Hogan's first taste of superstardom, the Midnight Rockers, Scott Hall, etc) all the way up until they could no longer compete with other companies in 1990. Now that it has been over eight years since the DVD was released, it's time to reintroduce AWA to WWE fans by adding AWA programming to the Network. All of those AWA television episodes that famously aired on ESPN and ESPN Classic through the years, plus shows like the SuperClash events, show the type of solid in-ring action that the company was known to deliver regularly. Watching the aforementioned early careers of the likes of Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Vader, Scott Hall, Curt Hennig, and The Road Warriors is a pretty sweet bonus, as well.
