10 Coolest Wrestlers In WCW History

8. The Filthy Animals

Together Billy Kidman, Rey Mysterio, Konnan and Eddie Guerrero comprised The Filthy Animals. Compared to the fossils populating the main event, the Animals were a breath of fresh air. They were young, exciting and brought a rebellious attitude to the product.

They did not care about anyone but themselves. They did what they wanted, when they wanted and gloriously flirted with the fine line between babyface and heel. Between the ropes, they did things others on the roster could not. Kidman would finish opponents with the Shooting Star Press. Mysterio would explode off the top rope with a high-flying arsenal. Eddie Guerrero was as tenacious as he was elusive and Konnan was a catchphrase machine.

Best of all, the stable was almost always flanked by a beautiful, sexy woman, something that struck a chord with the young males in the audience who already wanted to be just like the Animals. First it was Torrie Wilson. Then it was Tygress. In either case, the group was the envy of every 18-35 male who wanted to be them, when to kick ass like them and wanted to hang out with jaw-droppingly hot women they way they did.
