10 Dream Matches That The WWE Can Still Offer
6. Gunther vs. Bobby Lashley
Is this one already on the cards?
With Survivor Series only a few months away, there is a good chance that both of these men will hold onto their respective WWE Intercontinental and WWE United States Championships, meaning their collision course may already be set.
Gunther, who has responded pretty well from his needless name change, actually feels like a different character. Replacing his larger build into one of the most impressive physiques on the roster, whilst he appears smaller in the ring, the former WALTER still imposes himself with such dominance that it’s scary.
Very few men can make him feel small. Enter, Bobby Lashley.
Watching the ‘All Mighty’ finally reach his potential over the past few years has been fantastic, and although it has taken 15 years for Lashley to be treated like a main event player in WWE, he certainly deserves it. His in-ring work has never been better, and if there was anyone of the roster who can realistically survive a Gunther chop, it’s him.
The very idea of these two behemoths going nose to nose carries such an excitement, and the fact that it has never happened before makes it extra special.
Let’s hope, that this November, the irresistible force meets the immovable object.
