Triple H managed to eliminate Dibiase and Cody Rhodes consecutively, before being quickly dumped out by opportunistic Orton. It was a rather rushed finish, but it continued the Legacy/Helmsley rivalry that now involved the McMahon family.

The presence of the four men in the finish led to a Rumble rarity: it's the only time in Rumble match history that everyone among the Final Four entered in the first half of the match. Nobody from number 16 onward (you know, the better numbers) was in the final group.

Helmsley entered seventh, followed by Orton at eight. Dibiase was the tenth entrant, while teammate Rhodes came in at number 15, the cut-off man for the first half. The wrestler who came in fifth place, The Undertaker, entered at number 16. Everyone who entered after him must've forgotten to eat their Wheaties that day.
