10 Fastest Female Pushes In WWE History
6. Charlotte (69 Days)
Charlotte may have recently lost her Women’s Championship to
Sasha Banks, but it took her far less time than it did Sasha to claim gold in the first place.
When the endlessly-plugged Divas Revolution kicked-off in July of last year, it was Charlotte who would establish herself as the first breakout star of the movement. Having first made her presence felt on the July 13 showing of Raw, she was made Team PCB’s representative in a Triple Threat match at Battleground against a member apiece from Team Bella and Team BAD.
She promptly won that match, meaning that after the Triple Threat Tag Team Elimination bout at SummerSlam, it was Charlotte who was first in line for a shot at the Divas Title.
And her reward would arrive at Night of Champions on Sep. 20, 2015 when she forced Nikki Bella to submit, thus ending Nikki’s record 301-day reign with the belt and making some history of her own by sealing a 69-day road to the title.
Admittedly, Charlotte was coming into WWE with a ton of momentum from her time in NXT, which certainly contributed to her strong push. But on that logic you could argue that others before her had benefitted from their work in other companies and on the indies, so it all evens itself out in the end.
