10 HUGE WWE NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Predictions You Need To Know

1. Finn Bálor (c) Vs. Karrion Kross

Gareth Morgan's a gift to WhatCulture.com, and his takes will be the one to watch out for after this match has concluded because Finn Bálor Vs Karrion Kross has had its share of ups and downs.

Credit should be given to NXT for getting to where they wanted to when they'd originally intended to. This clash - for the brand's second-richest prize no less - always felt destined to headline the WrestleMania week TakeOver from the moment Kross debuted. People fantasy booked this new monster from hell being forced to face up to The Demon in a battle of (mostly) undefeated monsters.

It took on a different life when Kross got injured - in almost identical fashion to Bálor four years earlier - during his title-winning battle. The pair already had loads in common and this sealed it, but a lack of clarity on who exactly we're supposed to root for has dampened some of the flames for both men.

Their first face-off had cracking pub car park energy, but it's zig-zagged wildly since. Perhaps it's time to get back to...the opposite of basics and have an unadvertised appearance from The Demon after all. Logic insists this would happen after Kross has battered and destroyed Bálor, but who's to say he won't be cherry-picked for Raw or SmackDown before then anyway.

Bálor as NXT Champion has not provided echoes to his 2015 run and/or the glory days. Change that here, if only for the good of some fun conversations.

Winner - The Demon
