10 Lamest WWE Returns

5. James Ellsworth (Money In The Bank 2018)

It was fun for a few weeks, James Ellsworth's bullsh*t became tired a short while after 'The Chin That Eats The Pin' was introduced as a regular WWE TV character, having long overstayed his welcome by the time he'd turned heel and locked horns with Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles (over whom he holds three singles victories). Amazingly, it took another 11 months before WWE release the wee blighter.

Ellsworth Fatigue hadn't yet lifted by the time the company brought him back at Money In The Bank 2018 where, clad in a big fur robe, he took an almighty chunk out of Asuka's aura. 'The Empress of Tomorrow ' looked like the biggest dipsh*t in the building as she gawped at Ellsworth, letting herself get pinned by SmackDown Women's Champion Carmella in the process. Later, Asuka lost another pay-per-view bout to 'Mella after focusing more on beating the little slug with a cane rather than going for the W.

More than just lame, Ellsworth's comeback was destructive. The only saving grace was that WWE only kept him around for four months before General Manager Paige literally kicked him out of an episode of SmackDown.
