10 Least Intimidating WWE Monsters Ever

1. Giant Gonzalez

Is Giant Gonzalez the tallest professional wrestler ever? Quite probably, but that is going to be the only list that he finds himself at the top of that doesn't have a negative qualifier. You'll find him in the upper echelons of 'Worst Wrestler' too, as well as commanding top spot in 'Worst Undertaker WrestleMania Match'.

The big Argentinian may also be the least intimidating 'monster' in the history of wrestling too. After competing in WCW as El Gigante, Gonzalez came into the WWF in 1993 with Harvey Whippleman as his manager, and that was as good as it got. He arrived on the scene at the Royal Rumble that year, wearing a full body suit with airbrushed muscles that wasn't unlike one frequently won by groups of loutish Brits on stag-dos.

Despite standing a frankly astonishing eight feet tall, Gonzalez was all height and no fright. Even as an eight year old kid it was hard to take him seriously as a monstrous threat, and I was still kinda scared by Vigo from Ghostbusters II at the time. Put frankly, he looked ridiculous. He left the World Wrestling Federation later that same year.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
