10 Live Observations From WWE Raw After WrestleMania 35

1. Bait-And-B*tch

The Shield
WWE

WWE were never going to curse either Seth Rollins or Kofi Kingston with one-day Title reigns after working so hard to get the belts where they needed to be, but a self-booked Teddy Longing of their main event was the last straw for the fully f*cked off fans.

Blinded by rage and the aforementioned f*cking tortuous spotlights, the crowd got beachballs and boos out for the reimagined headliner after The Bar very unimaginatively rocked up with a surprise beating.

Frustratingly, WWE had already buried the lead.

After the show went off the air, Rollins called out Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose so the trio could say some public farewells before ‘The Lunatic Frige’ departs for pastures new. It was believable, felt real and got a great response.

WWE main evented their biggest Raw Of 2019 with a match that wasn’t promoted beforehand, but ended the arena portion with a goodbye from Dean that - to quote Ambrose - “kicked the s**t” out of everything else.

The Shield were adored in a way Sheamus and a Cesaro never will be, but WWE’s dodgy decisions saw ‘The Lunatic Fringe’ made to wait for the four lads to finish up. To the bitter end, he couldn’t get his way - just one more reminder of why he genuinely believed he can do life just fine without the empire and it’s overlord.
