10 Moments That Caused Huge Rifts Between Wrestlers

5. Sasha Banks Breaks Alexa Bliss' Nose

The heat between Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss is mythical, at this point, and can be traced back (apocryphally) to the time the former broke the latter's nose in NXT in 2014 - though it is said, even in WWE canon, that they simply, inherently and ardently despise one another.

It has allegedly simmered for years, and threatened to boil over during two physical interactions last year, across which Banks - allegedly - got too stuck in on offence, and vanished when she was meant to play catch.

Sasha Banks is so great at the art of patter that it is quite infuriating, watching her play fairly insipid best friend on television. The main roster has never once maximised her incredible heel game. No writer has ever penned a line as lurid and piss-funny as the tweet she posted to promote her match with Bliss on RAW last year: "I'll empty the tank for one of the greatest ever," she wrote, mimicking Seth Rollins' Rey Mysterio tribute. That was scathing; not so much shade as a total f*cking eclipse.

Bliss is less keen on an overt dig - not that she's above a subtweet - but in taking the high road, and talking of "safe" matches and "trust" and the like, she has reached Galaxy Brain levels of making subtext very clear.
