Before the Women’s Revolution, fans referred to 2002-06 as the golden era of women’s wrestling in WWE. With Trish Stratus as the centerpiece, the women’s division featured Lita, Jazz, Victoria, Gail Kim, Jacquelyn, Mickie James, and Molly Holly, all competing in solid matches with defined characters. Molly’s character, for instance, was that she had a fat ass.

Hey, those were Trish’s words, not mine. You see, while the other women were willing to flaunt their assets in sexually-stimulating attire, Molly preferred the modest approach. She bemoaned bra and panties matches, championing for her fellow competitors to have more respect for themselves.

Well, this was right after the Attitude Era, so that made Molly a villain. WWE turned it distasteful by then making her an unattractive villain with a frumpy body and tendency to wear granny panties. Keep in mind Molly was still a beautiful TV star - just not WWE’s type of beauty.
