10 Most Frustrating Decisions WWE Have Made This Year (So Far)
5. Everything About Travis Scott
Travis Scott's relationship with the WWE has been one of the worst celebrity collaborations in the history of the company.
Things didn't get off to a great start with Travis Scott breaking Cody's eardrum during John Cena's heel turn, but that can be explained as an unfortunate byproduct of having a non-wrestler not knowing how to throw a worked slap. Far less excusable is the decision to have him out there in the first place, which generated the same level of bafflement WrestleMania XVII would have if the closing image of that show had been Britney Spears standing in the ring and nodding approvingly at Stone Cold and Vince McMahon's handshake.
Then there was the decision to have Scott involved in the main event of WrestleMania 41, which pissed off the fanbase no end. The rapper's involvement was a blatantly transparent effort to generate a buzz that failed to materialize, and achieved little more than irritating the people who watch WWE for the actual wrestlers.
And now, with Travis Scott having gone MIA in the months since, his involvement is looking less Rock N' Wrestling and more Marcus the PSP Kid.
