10 Most Over Wrestlers On WWE SmackDown Right Now

3. Sasha Banks

'The Boss' generated both an ear-splitting pop and a torrent of boos on her first night back on the blue brand since WrestleMania 37, effortlessly playing both saviour then sinner as Bianca Belair found herself with an all-too-familiar opponent for SummerSlam.

This was unexpectedly well played by WWE, particularly in light of how patient they've been in bringing Sasha Banks back. It's been over a 100 days since the epic SmackDown Women's Championship match between the pair, meaning that Banks has taken almost as much time away from the ring as she did when a 2019 hiatus looked increasingly like it could be the end of her time there altogether.

Hopefully rested, recovered and raring to go, the former Champion as a full heel for the sequel is a mouth-watering prospect. That the cheers and the jeers came in equal volume upon her return boded well - fans at this point care deeply for her, regardless of which side of the divide she resides. They'll react accordingly, particularly if 'The EST' finds her old edge for the feud too.
