10 New Directions For WWE After Clash In Italy 2026
1. Another Bloodline Civil War?!
Roman told the world that Solo Sikoa and his MFTs are “next” right at the end of Clash In Italy. Yeah, that world ain't sure that running another Bloodline-infused civil war story is the way to go in 2026. Fingers crossed WWE don’t, but then...there isn’t much gas to Roman vs. Solo again either.
Solo's crew just lacks the necessary menace to act as a believable threat to Reigns, The Usos and their new heavy Jacob Fatu. Some sort of power struggle between Roman and Sikoa over the services of Fatu could make him look like a big deal, but is it actually necessary? WWE had already done the legwork to make Jacob credible in the eyes of fans.
If this slow crawls towards Survivor Series and another Bloodline War Games situation, then count this fan out. It's just more of the same, albeit with less interesting characters on one side. Talla and Tama Tonga aren't anywhere near hot enough to be going hard and heavy as threats to Reigns, Jimmy, Jey or even Jacob.
There must be a twist coming, because Bloodline vs. MFTs is fairly lacklustre. Bring back Rikishi and have him stinkface everyone. It's the only way. Yes, yes that is a (bad) joke. Not as much of one as Bloodline vs. Bloodline Lite would be for the rest of the year though.
