The Shield brother of Roman Reigns takes the number one spot due to the very strong possibility, nay likelihood, that Dean Ambrose could be the first heel opponent of Roman Reigns coming out of WrestleMania. An Ambrose heel turn has been rumored for years now, going back to before the Road To WrestleMania 29 in which the Shield had been teasing a breakup, and most recently at to the 2015 Survivor Series. Thus far, the predictions have been wrong as Ambrose has remained loyal to Roman, but the turn will go down, and it might even go down shortly after WrestleMania, perhaps on the post-WrestleMania episode of Raw. The two men have been kept very close on-screen over the past six months, too close even, that makes the long-anticipated Dean Ambrose heel turn a pretty good bet. Longtime WWE fans know that Vince McMahon likes to book a babyface WWE Champion coming out of WrestleMania, but they should also know that Vince likes to have a strong heel coming out of the Showcase of the Immortals to set up a Summer showdown between these two top superstars. Finally, the last thing fans should know (and probably do) about Vince McMahon's WrestleMania booking patterns centers around the RAW After WrestleMania and how, going back to 1995, the night following WrestleMania usually contains a big surprise or two. Ambrose turning heel could be that big surprise this year, considering the push and positions that Dean has been put in recently - finals of the Survivor Series title tournament, clear victory in his feud with Kevin Owens, reigning IC champ, final two of the Royal Rumble, main event of Fastlane - it's obvious the company has plans for him. Even if the moment to be remembered from R.A.W. isn't focused on the Lunatic Fringe and the turn is delayed, Dean will betray Roman and he's already slotted in as a future rival of Reigns, perhaps creating the opening to his first WWE Championship. The split is for certain and it is why Dean takes the number one spot.
