There isn't much debate that The New Day has been the best thing going in WWE for some time now. Even before the tides started to turn and they went heel in the spring of 2015, they've been a cohesive unit for as long as they have been together dating back to mid-2014. They're the three best friends anyone could have (per The Hangover), but if history has taught us anything, friendships never last forever in wrestling. Now, I'm not suggesting they will or should split up any time soon; as noted, they're among WWE's hottest acts right now and it would be asinine to put an end to that. But it would be fun to explore a route in the Royal Rumble that sees them turn on each other since it's every man for themselves and only one Superstar can walk away as WWE World Heavyweight champion. It would be akin to Daniel Bryan and Kane in 2013 when Bryan eliminated Kane from the match, yet they remained partners for the next several months. The same can said for The Shield in 2014. Kofi Kingston has pulled off an array of incredible spots over the years avoiding elimination, and this year should be no different, so expect the WWE Tag Team champions to get creative with what they do while simultaneously teasing tension within the ranks.
