10 Reasons Why 2022 Is Already Wrestling's Most Insane Year EVER

'Stone Cold' has knocked back WWE's overtures for 19 long years.

Someday soon, Austin needs to sit himself down for a 'Broken Skull Sessions' special and explain why he decided that 2022 was the right time to launch a comeback. The 57-year-old legend is reportedly locked in to wrestle Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38 on either 2 or 3 April, and it's...well it's amazing.

Cynics aplenty are taking to social media with the pretence that they won't watch when one of WWE's biggest stars ever pulls on the boots again in Texas. They're liars, because this is colossal news and one of the biggest returns in industry history. It still doesn't feel real though!

The 'Rattlesnake' has said no to potential matches against CM Punk and probably others over the years, and he definitely doesn't need the money. It's so crazy that Steve Austin might be about to work for the first time since jobbing to The Rock at 'Mania XIX.

Wrestling is insane.
