CM Punk may have unceremoniously bailed on the WWE back in January of last year, but not before he elevated himself to the top of the card having been given absolutely nothing. His excellent documentary, Best in the World, chronicles much of Punks upbringing. He divulges information on the rocky relationship he holds with his parents, his fathers issues with alcoholism and even the time he was robbed by his own brother. In response, Punk had left home and move in with a friend, where he was essentially adopted by her family. From there, he and his buddiesin line with their punk ethosset up their own wrestling company, known as the Lunatic Wrestling Federation. What started out as a backyard activity soon grew into a viable company, and became the platform from which Punk learned the craft that would turn him into the longest reigning WWE Champion of the modern era. And with Punk in the early stages of launching his UFC career, expect his worth to continue to rise for years to come.
