10 Royal Rumble 2017 Entrants Who Won’t Enter 2018's

1. The Undertaker

Neither is The Undertaker.

His sole purpose in the 2017 Royal Rumble wasn't to confront Goldberg; it was to be thrown out by Roman Reigns and sow seeds for a WrestleMania 33 main event. That match in Orlando then looked to be 'Taker's retirement, only for WWE to announce him for the 25th Anniversary of Raw celebrations later this month.

Coincidentally, that occasion happens just six days before the Rumble. Are WWE craftily hinting that Undertaker will be part of the 30-man match? We seriously doubt it. It would be silly to have such a legend job out again in the match, and he surely wouldn't win it after already looking to ride off into the sunset almost one full year ago.

2017's Rumble was a fitting end to The Undertaker's involvement in one of WWE's most famous matches. He eliminated 4 men (Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin, The Miz and Goldberg) and then secured his 'final' WrestleMania moment by staring out Reigns.
