10 Shortest WWE Championship Reigns
3. John Cena: 3 Minutes, 33 Seconds
It's a fact rammed down our throats frequently that John Cena is a 15-time world champion; just one win away from tying Ric Flair's record. However, what WWE often leaves out, is that one of those Cena WWE title reigns was woefully short.
The shortest of Cena's championship runs came at Elimination Chamber 2011. Shortly after he won the title inside the Chamber against Sheamus, Triple H, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase and Kofi Kingston, Cena was greeted by Mr McMahon and Batista.
McMahon handed his new ally Batista an immediate title shot and 'The Animal' needed just 30 seconds to spear and Batista Bomb his way to the WWE championship. Cena really doesn't have much luck at Elimination Chamber events, does he?
Cena would get his revenge the next month at WrestleMania XXVI by defeating Batista for the belt.
