10 Terrible Wrestling Matches You MUST Watch!

1. The Giant vs. Hulk Hogan (WCW Halloween Havoc 1995)

Paul Wight's first two WCW "matches" took place at Halloween Havoc.

The first barely qualifies, hence the inverted commas. A sumo monster truck battle contested atop a nearby building, it concluded with The Gaint plummeting from the roof to the ground below. Hulk Hogan had committed murder on pay-per-view, it seemed, until The Dungeon Of Doom's biggest beefiest boy returned that same show, no-selling death to fight the past-his-sell-by-date WCW Champion in the main event.

Hogan's untenable top babyface status wasn't the only thing decaying on the card.

Dry-humping the leg-dropping legend to death with the aid of an undead ally, The Giant scored the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in a grand heist. Tony Schiavone's iconic call of "THE YEH-TAY!" shambling to the ring to assist the Dungeon's most impressive farce cannot be adequately recreated in the written word. A shame, but if you've already seen Halloween Havoc '95, it's probably ricocheting around your head right now anyway.

No promotion will ever compete with WCW's library of accidental genius. Here, on one of the wackiest wrestling shows ever, they cemented their status as wrestling's foremost purveyors of so-dumb-it's-accidentally-the-best-thing-ever bullsh*ttery.
