10 Things That MUST Happen Before AEW Full Gear 2022

6. A Streaming Service Launches Is At Least Officially Confirmed, If Not Formally Launched

Tony Khan's recent comments to Barstool Sports' Brandon F. Walker confirm that an AEW streaming service will happen at some point, but when that is remains a mystery.

Tony Schiavone, however, not only thinks this will launch by the end of 2022, but that it will come as part of the HBO Max library of content. That'd be huge if it happened.

Given AEW's smaller video library, there shouldn't be too much of an issue collating this into one online service. They only launched in May 2019, mind; it's not as if they're uploading material dating back to the 1960s.

Presumably, this service would feature the usual weekly programming and quarterly pay-per-views, alongside any special events, documentaries, and Being The Elite episodes. Anything in addition to this would come as a bonus.

An official announcement of this service to coincide with the fourth Double Or Nothing pay-per-view would go down suitably well, particularly if AEW is able to promote a fanfest to go alongside the event itself. It would be handy having everything in one place, as the likes of the WWE Network, IMPACT Plus, and the various independent wrestling video-on-demand services have already proven.
