Even so, they dropped a clanger right at the end of an otherwise-excellent piece.

Narrator Chris Jericho noted that, "10 days after the ruling on 15 January 2015, Snuka succumbs to his cancer and dies". That's not true. Jimmy didn't actually die until 15 January 2017. He couldn't have passed away before attending the trial, after all. Oops.

Obviously, this is a minor mistake, though it's one that should've been spotted during the episode's edit. The stop-and-start trial for murder was eventually thrown out due to health complications (Snuka was declared unfit to stand in court), meaning neither he nor the Argentino family reached a satisfactory resolution.

Jimmy's name wasn't cleared outright, and Nancy's loved ones would never get the justice they wanted to vindicate her memory. VICE end the documentary with a picture of Nancy as a teenager and a message from her sisters Louise and Lorraine about how loved she still is.
