10 Things We Learned From WWE's Aleister Black On E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness

7. He's Not Even Sure His First Wrestling Memory Happened

Black's first exposure to pro wrestling was when he and his father were sitting on the couch flicking through channels. As a kid, Aleister watched as Yokozuna booted money out the hands of Ted DiBiase. His dad changed channels just a few seconds later, but he couldn't get the visual out of his head.

It wasn't until a few years later that regular wrestling came on terrestrial TV in Holland, and (bizarrely) it was New Japan Pro Wrestling that hit the airwaves. This means that Black's first real experiences watching wrestling as a child were not with Hulk Hogan or even Bret Hart, but with Jushin Thunder Liger over in Japan.

He's not even sure the blink-and-you'll-miss-it Yoko/DiBiase moment ever happened.

It sounds like something that could have gone down when Yokozuna turned babyface in 1996 and DiBiase led the Million Dollar Corporation, but that seems out of step with Black's timeline. He said he was a young child when seeing it, so perhaps he's right and it was a figment of his imagination.
