6. Vs The Rock
You have to think Sting being brought in would have meant "Dream Match" after "Dream Match", and this is another one in a long list of them. If there's one guy that could mask Sting's advanced age (he was 42 when WCW was officially purchased) during a match, it would be The Rock. Not that Rock is a technical marvel in the ring himself, but he knows how to have crowds eating out of the palm of his hand. He could wrestle the timekeeper and he would have the crowd going crazy for everything that happened in the match. The atmosphere for Rock VS Sting would be off the charts. Unlike the previous two "Dream Match" scenarios on this list, Sting would be going up against an opponent here that could probably be playing a heel. If the company held off on putting this match together for a bit, we would have gotten "Hollywood" Rock against Sting, which makes for a far more intriguing match. The brash, arrogant movie star that knows he's better than you VS the righteous "good guy" that fights for his rights, his beliefs, his religion, and his family? Those would make for some entertaining promos and segments.
