7. Test And Stacy In The Doghouse

WWE had big plans for Test and Stacy Keibler in 2003. WWE would have pushed Test in 2002, but he refused to cut his air and was phased down as a result. Then he cut his hair, switched out his pleather trousers for short trunks and WWE had a change of heart. Test was paired on-screen with his real life girlfriend Stacy and given a considerable babyface push. Stacy, as his image consultant, told Test to embrace his fan base, whom she dubbed his 'Testicles'. He was scheduled to face Chris Jericho at No Way Out in February and would have also featured on the WrestleMania card, but an incident happened that resulted in their cancellation. The pair missed the Raw before the PPV because they were snowed in. WWE had apparently warned them about making sure they had enough time to get to the taping, a warning that was not heeded. The feeling was that they should have gotten out of town earlier, before their flights were cancelled. The blizzard was forecast days in advance and they really should have known better than to wait for the last minute. The heat would dissipate soon after and Test and Stacy became involved in a long feud/angle with Scott Steiner.
