10 Times WWE Rewrote Its History Books
2. Hulk Hogan
There were one or two murmurs earlier this year that WWE was prepared to soften its stance on Hulk Hogan, who was shunned by the wrestling community following (some pretty well-founded) accusations of racism a couple of years ago.
But, until the olive branch is extended (a big if), he's essentially a persona non grata - which is quite a climb down from the position of Golden Age poster-boy, one that he held unchallenged for at least a decade following his return from WCW at the beginning of 2002.
It should be easy to rewrite WWE history to exclude the Hulkster's contributions though. You just have to take out WrestleManias I to VIII. Also: X8, XIX - and perhaps XXX as well, just to be on the safe side.
