10 Twisted Times WWE Rewarded A Wrestler For Being A D*ck

1. Eric Bischoff (2002 & 2019)

Eric Bischoff twice took a run at Vince McMahon's empire over the course of his impressive and intriguing career, with the first attempt famously affording him an 83-week unbeaten streak in a Raw/Nitro ratings war and a period of nearly two years at the top of the industry. Twice, he was paid handsomely by The Chairman in the aftermath.

It was that moxie that got him hired as an on-air performer in 2002 long after his former organisation's demise, but goodness knows what exactly got him a role the second time around. Bischoff had found fortune outside of wrestling following a ropey TNA stint in 2010, and was more about square eyes than the squared circle when WWE somehow came calling in 2019.

The Impact Wrestling attempt on McMahon's empire could barely be considered as such, but it was Bischoff and longtime collaborator Hulk Hogan at the helm of it. Nonetheless, McMahon saw something in 'Easy E' that convinced him to give him an 'Executive Director' spot ahead of SmackDown's billion dollar move to Fox.

He was fired, bizarrely, 11 days into the show's reign on the Network.
