10 Way Too Early Card Predictions For WWE WrestleMania 43
Predicting WWE's biggest matches 12 months BEFORE WrestleMania 43 lands.
Legends such as Kevin Nash bemoaned the visible lack of fans travelling internationally for this past weekend's WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. Wait until the former Diesel gets a load of the situation in Saudi Arabia next year. Far less people will travel out to Riyadh than Vegas, but the locals in Saudi will go wild for such a huge WWE PLE in their home nation.
Meanwhile, TKO will be busy counting the cash they're raking in from such an adventure.
Recent reports speculate that even WWE's overseers know they've been ripping it with the ticket prices lately. Those are set to come down over the summer, but there's no chance in hell they'll be modestly priced come 'Mania 43. If anyone believes that, then we've got some magic beans to sell them.
Attractions will be front and centre of the marketing charge though, and Triple H has already teased what's to come on the episode of Raw after 42. There, firm friends came face to face with the looming prospect of a WWE Title showdown between them. That might take place in 2026, or maybe Hunter's prepared to play the waiting game.
This article also predicts major bouts for stars like Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Oba Femi, Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill, Bron Breakker and others.
It'd be bold to say that every single one of these matches will happen in Riyadh next year, but most of them seem like plausible combinations for the first time the 'show of shows' goes truly international.
10. Randy Orton vs. Finn Bálor
What are the bets on a Randy Orton retirement story arc heading into WrestleMania 43? That seems to be all the rage these days. Bill Goldberg, John Cena, AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar all mined it in 2025 and into 2026, and it's fair to assume that Randy can't go on forever. Neither, mind you, can Finn Balor.
Orton has been telling anyone who'll listen lately that he'd love a major feud and at least one PLE match vs. Finn before hanging up his boots. Obviously, WWE could get to Randy vs. Bálor long before heading over to Riyadh for 'Mania 43, but that's up in the air until it happens.
The super switched on out there will also point out that both guys are on separate brands for now (as if that matters!). That's nothing Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis can't sort between them on camera later this year. Failing that, perhaps Triple H will wheel out the "inter-promotional" chat for what must be considered one of Randy's few remaining personal dream matches.
There's no need to go with the 'Demon' gimmick here either. That'd only limit things, and there's something much more captivating about a straight up wrestling bout between these veterans who cut their teeth in the biz on polar opposite ends of the scale.
Bálor was a New Japan and independent darling before signing with WWE, whereas Orton was a product of the system long before Performance Centers, NXT etc. Go on, give Mr. RKO the chance to tick one off his bucket list.
