10 Wild MMA Fights That You Need To Watch In December

7. Alexandre Pantoja Vs. Matt Schnell - UFC Fight Night: Ortega Vs. Korean Zombie

Despite the UFC's flyweight division remaining in limbo due to Henry Cejudo's injury and lack of clarity on whether or not he's going to defend the belt, we're still being treated to some very entertaining battles at 125lb. One of the better fights taking place in the division this month is Brazilian brawler Alexandre Pantoja against surging submission specialist Matt Schnell, in what should be a fun scrap.

Schnell might've had a shaky start to his UFC career - losing his first two fights via first round knockout - but he's looked sensational as of late. He's got four wins out of his last four fights and has finished his last two opponents via triangle choke. Schnell has stated that he thinks he's one of, if not the best grapplers in the weight class and he'll get a chance to prove that against a fellow ground game specialist in Pantoja.

While he took a beating from striking phenom Deiveson Figueiredo back at UFC 240, Pantoja is still a top flyweight with serious skills. The 29-year old Brazilian has shown knockout power and an extremely aggressive submission game since joining the promotion, finishing the likes of Neil Seery, Ulka Sasaki and Wilson Reis so far. Expect plenty of near finishes between these two attack heavy little guys.
