10 World Champions Who Bombed TWICE

1. Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt The Fiend
WWE

From being 'The Eater Of Worlds' to his time as The Fiend, Bray Wyatt perpetually existed in prison of his own making.

Clearly very creative - even if that creativity didn't always yield particularly logical or pro wrestling friendly outcomes - Wyatt cultivated an enormous fanbase that were willing to go along with whatever he proffered but did all that while working for an organisation that has actively avoided telling detailed longterm stories for nearly two decades.

The two sides were never destined to meet in the middle, and in the briefest moments they actually managed it, the outcomes had more holes than a golf course and actually did more to expose Wyatt's shortcomings than the company's. A short reign in 2017 seemingly saw Vince McMahon get the longest recorded case of buyers remorse in history when he terminated the title run in pathetic fashion at WrestleMania, and The Fiend was infamously dead and buried before he even won the thing thanks to an all-timer putrid Hell In A Cell bout with Seth Rollins.

Who knows what remains for the controversial and divisive figure? All that's clear is how these disasters are left in the past if he's to have a future.
