10 Worst Booked Wrestlers Of 2017

3. Bray Wyatt

It's easy to forget that wrestling's foremost babbling swamp wizard was actually WWE Champion earlier in 2017. Bray Wyatt held the company's top prize for 49 days between February and April, but his booking since then has been nothing short of disastrous, erasing all memory of those early year highlights.

Wyatt is the worst character in the company. Years of terrible booking have crushed his aura and mystique, and 2017 has been particularly damaging, with Bray bouncing from one hokey feud to another. The Randy Orton rivalry was historically bad, and threw up two of the year's absolute worst matches (WrestleMania 33 & Payback), then the ensuing Finn Balor storyline was dragged out entirely too long, with Bray taking several clean losses. Fortunately, a pre-TLC virus spared us the sight of Wyatt wrestling in drag: Sister Abigail would've made him a laughing stock.

Bray's character is now as dismal as his big match win/loss record. His promos are nonsensical and repetitive, his supernatural schtick has never been so schlocky, and he hasn't felt fresh or original since his 2013. Sadly, there can be no coming back from this.

Stick a fork in 'The Eater Of Worlds': he's done.
