8. Big Show Turns Face... Maybe? (2015)

The Intercontinental Championship picture was a bit of a mess in the summer of 2015.

For starters, there were those who were critical of WWE putting the Intercontinental Championship on Ryback at Elimination Chamber because he couldn't always be counted on for a quality match (plus, he was no Daniel Bryan, who held the belt before him). If that wasn't bad enough, he was paired off with Big Show for his first feud, and unsurprisingly, their match at Money in the Bank was pretty poor.

The Miz eventually entered the title scene as well and all three men were set to do battle for the strap at Battleground. An injury sustained by Ryback at the last minute forced the bout to be cancelled (though it would take place at SummerSlam the following month), and instead there was a promo involving the remaining competitors.

Miz ran down Ryback for a few minutes and cut one of his usual excellent promos only to be interrupted by Big Show. Without saying a single word, Show knocked out Miz with a single punch. It appeared Show was on the verge of turning face for the millionth time, but he was back to being a heel the very next night.

Either way, it was a weird way to further their feud.
