In fairness, even Eric Bischoff has giggled at his match vs. Teddy Long at Survivor Series 2005. The former WCW head honcho likely knew that giving he and 'Tag-Team' Teddy precious minutes on one of the biggest pay-per-views of the year was a mistake, but he did his best to make the match as pain free as possible. That was mission impossible.

Look, nobody watching the show went in expecting an in-ring miracle. This was never going to be Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat, but it was so, so bad. Yes, even from a non wrestler vs. non wrestler perspective. This was like Gerald Brisco vs. Pat Patterson from King Of The Ring 2000 without the comedic touch, which isn't meant as a compliment. Five minutes felt like five years.

Long mocked Bischoff's martial arts background, Bisch choked Ted with his belt, then The Boogeyman (of all people) showed face to help SmackDown's GM take home the victory. Oh, and forgotten face Palmer Cannon was at ringside representing Teddy too. Thankfully, he didn't bring his duff "Juniors Division" along for the ride with him.

It's legit shocking that this went on second from last on one of the traditional 'Big 4' PPVs. The match was a travesty. It was always going to be one, as Eric has pointed out via his '83 Weeks' podcast. He didn't have somebody like Steve Austin out there to slap him around, and that meant there was zero actual wrestling ability whatsoever involved. No, Boogeyman doesn't count. He ate some worms and facilitated the finish. That was it.

Horrible.
