It's no shock to hear reports that many fans sighed when Charlotte Flair won the 2025 Women's Rumble. Flair has done it all in WWE, and there's a prevailing sense that she shouldn't be pushed ahead of future stars emerging in the division. Tiffany Stratton is one of those fresh faces, but it just so happens Stratton already has gold over her shoulder.

There's your match dynamic.

The old, 'Charlotte has to beat Tiffany; Stratton doesn't need to beat Flair' commentary line can be wheeled out for this Women's Title clash at 'Mania. WWE need to be careful, right enough. It'd be bold if Trips thought Charlotte was going to be cheered over Stratton. 'Tiffy Time' is over, and people were real chuffed to see her cash in Money In The Bank to upset Nia Jax.

Thus, Flair would likely have to play the silver spoon heel who's coming to reclaim "her gold". That'd bolster Stratton's babyface status, push her further away from the tricky tweener role she currently occupies, and give the match a clear 'cheer this woman and boo that woman' layout. That's needed, and so is Charlotte choosing to go after someone new rather than schedule a rematch with Rhea Ripley.

We've...been there and done that to death. Flair vs. Stratton is legitimately new, and it gives WWE a great excuse to cement Tiffany as one of the new dominant names in the women's division. Charlotte can be useful going forwards, but she shouldn't be the title focal point anymore.
