10 Wrestlers That Seriously Took The Piss

1. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho nailed a moment of improvisational genius midway through the arena-wide brawl that main evented the May 6th edition of AEW Dynamite and set the table for the similarly inspired Stadium Stampede. But then should any of us be surprised at this point?

Almost as if to highlight just how tight a restraint the WWE handcuffs were, Jericho's rogue charm has been turned up to 12 since his first match with Kenny Omega at 2018's Wrestle Kingdom 12. There, he mocked fans, swore up a storm and caused chaos, foreshadowing how the rest of the run would go and the personality that afforded AEW the surest of starts.

'Le Champion' wasn't taking the piss out of the form - far from it - but out of his own persona for being the type of human being that would see a traffic cone in the middle of a chaotic blood and think "Witches hat!" and provide the cackle too. It's the same mind that bubbled over with creativity during his one-man celebration for winning the AEW Championship after All Out, and yet again in generated a meme-able and memorable moment for his millions of fans.
